Date: January 10th - 13th
Jenny Thomasson AIFD PFCI EMC
Jody McLeod AIFD CFD NCCPF
The role of a Floral Commentator is to provide information, inside knowledge, and not surprisingly, commentary, about a variety of floral related topics. Commentating can show off your skills and knowledge of the industry, as well as your personality. As a floral commentator, you need to be able to use data and previous experiences to draw new conclusions and being brave enough to predict possible impacts or changes that may occur to our industry. This investment will give you all the tools and awareness needed to begin a new journey in your ways of presenting and commentating. Whether it’s in your own town, your own state, or around the world you will shine like a STAR!
Speaking in front of people is a skill that is developed through practice and this class will teach you the fundamentals of presenting to today's audiences. You'll learn how to plan a program, commentate an arrangement, learn PR, control stage fright and gain confidence on live posts and social media. This expansive workshop will encompass methods of commentating and presenting, image and professional development, and creating a collaborative program for presenting. You will receive constructive feedback based upon your results and personal coaching on your communication and your methods of presenting. Whether you want to perform on a stage before hundreds, teach a class in your store for your own customers or present in the digital, virtual world - this class will give you the confidence and the skills to follow your dreams.
Each class member will participate in a specially staged live show **with an audience** to put what they've learned to work immediately. HURRY! Spaces are limited and we expect a sell out!
