One-on-One Wedding Design & Sales by Jenny T - 3 Days

This floral immersion, guided by Jenny T, will teach you the steps to ensure success in the consultation, flower & hard good procurement, the pricing behind all things involved with wedding flowers and how to bring it all to life with the design knowledge. You will be creating beautiful compositions for a unique settings, color theory discussion, new and effective techniques and mechanics and how to achieve success in personal and bouquet flowers. These three days are broken up to give extreme focus on all areas of the wedding floral professional. After taking this workshop you will be able to lead with confidence with your own team, bring back your new knowledge to your staff and colleagues or begin down the road of starting your own dream job of being a wedding florist.

Day 1 Agenda - Business
We will go step by step on how to successfully structure a wedding design consultation. What are some good steps to take when setting up the expectation of the consultation, how to collect information, what specifics are important to the scope of the wedding flowers and how to profitably price out the quote for the job. We will also cover how to order your flowers, who to order them from and a timeline to keep everyone on task and set up for success. Color theory will also be covered so that you can have the knowledge on how to suggest professional options that set your designs and floral offerings above the competition.

Day 2 Agenda - Ceremony
We will discover that wide array of bouquet styles, personal flowers and ceremony decor. Full discussion and demonstration on the mechanics and how to build a variety of bouquet shapes. You will have time for hands on practice to learn what styles your business is selling the most or those that you would like to learn how to achieve and sell in the future. We will also discover the wonderful world of personal flowers. How to successfully create stunning boutonnieres, pocket squares, lapel floral adornments, wrist corsages and flower halos.

Day 3 Agenda - Reception
Reception flowers consist of so many styles that this day will be filled to the brim! Low centerpieces with a variety of ways to achieve success using different mechanics, tall centerpieces in vases, on top of vases, on decorative stands, cake flowers and hanging floral installations.
